Our Strategy
How do we create a balance between traditional and progressive schools of thought?
How do we ensure effective and efficient implementation of our objectives?
- We combine and balance traditional focus on rigor and discipline, with respect for the individuality and inventiveness of each child.
- We limit class sizes to 25-30, to allow for differentiated learning, based on the pace and level of the student. This is measured against pre-decided learning outcomes.
- We constantly develop and update our curriculum and lesson plans to stimulate learning. We invite guest lecturers and organize field trips to provide students exposure to the wider world.
- We invest in infrastructure that supports our aim of exposure in arts, humanities, science and physical fitness / sports.
- We work with a motivated and empowered faculty who believe in our approach, and who actively contribute to it.
- We invest in people development so that they have the resources to deliver on their targets.
- We respect parents' feedback, and are accountable for our performance against our core promise. We share our quality objectives and achievements with parents, and actively solicit their participation in their child's development by way of 6 to 8-weekly parent-teacher meetings, annual parent-satisfaction survey and annual report. In addition parents are welcome to contact the Inventure Academy team via email, student diary and meet them by taking a prior appointment.
- We have adopted best practices in quality management in the running of Inventure Academy. This helps keep us alert to the changing environment and the need that this environment imposes on the child and her education.
- We foster a performance-oriented culture. We measure our performance against set key result areas.
- Our students will be global citizens, so we benchmark ourselves on international standards.
