The admission process at Inventure Academy has been specially designed to be transparent, simple and effective for both parties. We believe a face-to-face interaction with the parents/authorised guardians and the prospective student is of greater value than any conventional admission test.

An interaction gives us a more holistic understanding of the child’s strengths, potential, interest areas and developmental needs. It also gives parents/authorised guardians a first-hand opportunity to obtain an in-depth understanding of Inventure Academy’s offering, including our core purpose, values, vision, education approach, systems, processes and people.

Students applying for grades 6, 7, 8 or 9 will be required to take short placement tests in English, Mathematics and Science aimed at evaluating age and grade appropriate academic competencies.

The process of application for admission is as follows :

  1. School tour (virtual tour on www.inventureacademy.com) and briefing about the school’s philosophy, approach and offering.

  2. 2) Application Forms may be purchased at the School Office for Rs. 500/- Admissions packet contains – brochure including an application form, fee structure and admission process.

  3. Completed Application Forms to be submitted along with:
    • 2 Photographs
    • Copy of birth certificate
    • Last 2 years academic records
    • Extra curricular records /achievement certificates, if any
    • Transfer Certificate, if any
    • Copy of visa /permit (non-Indian citizen)

  4. Interaction with students and parents/ authorised guardians is scheduled. If possible the same is accomplished the day that the application form is submitted. Admissions panel will interact with the parents/ authorised guardians.

  5. Placement / Evaluation of students.
    • Pre School and Primary school - interaction will be conducted by the grade teacher who is familiar with the level / requirements for that specific grade level. Grades 6,7,8,9 - Placement Test for students in will be administered by a middle or senior school teacher. Placement test will be based on the syllabus (English, Math & Science) of the grade previous to the one in which admission is being sought.

  6. Results will be conveyed within 2 working days and offer of admission made in writing.

  7. In order to secure a seat, parents/authorized guardians will be required to pay the Registration , Admission Fees and 50% of the Annual Education Fee within 2 weeks from the date that the offer of admission is made . Failure to do so may result in the seat being offered to another student.

  8. On being granted admission, the following forms need to be filled in:
    • Medical/Health Form
    • Indemnity Bond
    • Parent Declaration Form
    • Bus/Meal Plan/ 2nd Language/3rd Language and co curricular electives.

  9. Provisional Letter of Admission ( If the student does not reside in Bangalore , admission / placement in a grade is provisional until the school has interacted with the student, the placement test has been conducted and the parents / authorised guardians have accepted the grade to which the student has been admitted). Admission to a particular grade is provisional till the Transfer Certificate and Pass Certificate or equivalent document from the previous school is produced. For International and NRI students, a written sign-off from the previous school will suffice, in lieu of a transfer certificate stating that student was registered there and what grade level the student completed.

  10. Payment of balance fees by 15 April 2008 – Please refer to the Fee Structure/ Fee Policy for details.

  11. Fees, once paid are not refundable

  12. Pre-registration - Parents/ authorised guardians may pre-register their child in advance by completing the application form and paying the Registration and Admission Fees. If the admission offer is subsequently declined by the parent any sum of money paid towards securing the seat is forfeited. Admission is granted provisionally till the child is of school-going age and able to go through the admission / placement process. At the time of actual admission, any differential between the Admission and Registration Fees as it stands now and what it may be (in the year of actual admission of the student) will be debited / credited along with the other appropriate fees applicable at that time.
