Inventure Academy students meet the Golfing masters

“Golf is a gentleman’s game, played all around the world, amongst different ages, sizes and shapes.  Golf is a very precise game, which takes concentration and strategy.  It’s not only a game, where you win amongst others, instead a chance to compete with yourself.

We had the great surprise of meeting two great golfers of our times. Jyothi Randhawa, an Indian professional golfer who was ranked in the top 100 of the Official World Golf Ranking several times between 2004 and 2009 , Digvijay Singh another professional golfer from India currently playing on the Professional Golf Tour of India and the Asian Tour and Bambi Randhawa ( one of the top golf coaches in India) to come and visit us. They shared with us their experiences, hard times and achievements. For the upcoming golfers of our school like the Sharad Arora, Nirvair Nair and Little Tiya, it was an inspiration, a chance to see the future.  And for us others, it was interesting and motivating to learn how they pushed through the hard times.

It really was a lot of fun, and we can’t wait for them to come again, so that we can learn more about golf.
