Welcome to Inventure Academy

Shaheen Shafi has a Bachelors degree in English and History; Masters in History and UGC NET (History). She has had 15 years experience in teaching, training, teacher recruitment and teacher enablement for start up schools; curriculum development; program design and pedagogy. She has also created teacher-training manuals for a UNESCO sponsored project, and has written books for children.

Shaheen worked in leading schools in Delhi, Lucknow and Ahmedabad, where she taught English, History, Life Skills and Computers to middle and senior school classes. At Springdales, she headed the teacher resource centre, responsible for the in-house training of a two-hundred-strong faculty. Her focus was on creativity in education, and multiple intelligences. She was part of the core team that conceptualized and set up the middle school at Ekalavya School, Ahmedabad.

As senior faculty, iDiscoveri Education, Shaheen worked on the junior program curriculum design and teacher development team for Heritage School, Gurgaon; Strawberry Fields World School, Chandigarh and Pushp Niketan School, Dhampur. She led the life skills program for students at Modern School, New Delhi and was faculty for the design and facilitation of the teacher empowerment programs (Heritage Schools; DPS, Ludhiana; St. Kabir's School, Chandigarh; Sunbeam School, Benaras; Pallikoodam School, Kottayam, among others) and school leadership programs.

Shaheen has conceptualized and facilitated Xplore, the one-month foundation program for Inventure Academy.
