Inventurer Lalitha Pingali (Grade 8IG) bags bronze at the World Robot Olympiad, Chennai!

Given the theme ‘Building Robots for Sustainability’, the 29 participating teams in the Junior-High category were challenged to create a robot that can help one company reach carbon neutrality.

One of the ways to achieve this was to plant trees to counterbalance the emissions from the industrial processes of the company. Using Lego components to build a robot that is able to plant trees in three different planting areas, Lalitha along with her team (2 students from other schools), came third and qualified for the WRO national level competition in October in New Delhi.
