Managing Trustee, CEO and Co-founder: Nooraine Fazal
Nooraine Fazal has a Masters of Science in Management degree from Boston University. Her experience spans a spectrum of multi-cultural and international markets in the US, Greater China, Australia, Middle East and the UK, over a period of twelve years. Nooraine worked with Reuters for a period of over 9 years in various front-line and managerial roles. Post a period of introspection, Nooraine returned to India in order to be a 'citizen with a say' in the way the country is developing.
Nooraine Fazal believes that:
- Individuality is to be celebrated, not discouraged.
- Everyone is capable of being a life-long learner and employing the skills and knowledge they have acquired.
- Everyone has the potential to achieve their life's ambition.
Her exposure, expertise and beliefs have motivated her to make a sustainable difference to the way children are taught, through Inventure Academy. Under Nooraine's stewardship, the core promise 'to instill in students the ability and conviction to realize their full potential and excel anywhere in the world', has become a mission critical event at Inventure Academy.
The school's focus on excellence in academics and at least one chosen co-curricular activity, has been regarded as an unreasonable attempt by some: to which Nooraine replies with a quote from George Bernard Shaw, 'A reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in adapting the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends upon the unreasonable man.' This also neatly summarizes the expectations, the drive and the passion that Nooraine infuses into the rest of the faculty and school machinery.
