An Inventurous Summer!

What’s this all about?

How many of us reach adulthood not clear about what we truly are passionate about? How many of us feel just envious of those lucky wildlife photographers, dancers, artists, rock climbers, documentary film makers, adventurers and the like? A lot of us can relate to this and we want a lot more fulfilment and satisfaction from life for our children. As for those who don’t fit here, you know how good it is and would want the same or better for the little ones.

Inventure Academy is providing just the right avenue for your child to explore her flairs or challenge his talents and maybe even find some new ones this summer. Through a series of workshops, mini courses and experiences, kids will get a chance to significantly delve into fields as diverse as theatre and wildlife. Experts in the fields will guide the children through their basics and help them create something, take back memories and learning and push the envelope all in a safe environment.

How will this work?

  • This summer experience will run from Monday to Friday for three weeks starting on the 7th of April.
  • Busses will pick the kids up from a few decided locations and bring them to the Inventure Academy campus by 8AM every morning. The kids will leave the school at 2 or 2:30PM after lunch.
  • The first two hours will be dedicated to sports of various sorts. This will keep the kids fit, help them build skills and all the other good things that sports (and not television) do for children.
  • The next four hours, will be dedicated to various electives. These would cover a wide range of activities and could be one off type workshops or week long modules. A list of the intended activities is at the end of this note.
  • People who are accomplished in their own fields will design the workshops as well as run the entire modules with the kids.
  • For the first two weeks, forty five children a week will get to go on an outbound wilderness experience with Gerry Martin and his team to explore wildlife, some adventure and learn a whole lot of survival skills.
