Celebration of Learning- A name apt to the event and what it achieved. A day when students and teachers of the primary wing at Inventure Academy celebrated learning, creativity, organization, hard work and teamwork –skills that will serve them handy for life.
It was all about learning through experience both for the students and teachers. Concepts came alive and theories were put to test making learning more fun, relevant and application oriented for the children. It tied in with the school’s belief in the theory of ‘Multiple Intelligences’ and the conviction that students absorb and retain better when they make connections and tap into higher order thinking.
The children had the parents and guests in awe as they entered different classrooms of the primary department. Each classroom displayed their exhibits, one better than the other. Students learnt their themes, experimented with them and made projects on the same. This was the day when they got a chance to showcase their talent and present their work to none else but parents at large. It was a proud moment for these children and they presented their ideas with a lot of enthusiasm and energy. In addition to the academic learning children got a chance to improve their creativity, presentation skills, listening skills, objection handling skills etc.
There were diverse themes across different grades that ranged from Sense Organs, Transport, Animal Habitat, Family, Community, Universe, Landforms, Soil and Rock and much more. The students shared their knowledge and delightfully answered all questions asked by parents and guests.
Needless to say parents were thrilled to see this impressive body of work. The hard work put in by teachers and students was evident. The brilliant success of this event is a testimony to Inventure Academy’s commitment to education and it’s will to equip students with skills that will make them true future global citizens.
