The INME Acrostic
Independant I became at this wonderful adventure.
New friends I made that I can now nurture.
My activities that I did were exciting and fun.
End of the trip it was not easy to say bye when it was done.
The INME Adventure
There’s just only one way I can explain to all of you how I felt about INME and that is “a Big Blob of Fun”. Well, we started off with long and boring bus ride but let me tell you it was all well worth it! When we reached there, we first ate lunch. After that we were introduced to our instructors. We also had to make groups. I was in group 1. We then got to choose our room-mates. I was very excited at this point. In a jiffy, we got into group of 6 and got into a room of 6 beds. After settling down in our room, we went to do the trust fall where we had to do a dead man fall from 3 feet high platform into people’s hands. Well, in that activity no one got hurt! We had lots of fun that day.
The next day the first activity we did was PY workout where we were taught different exercises, that was lot of fun. Our next activity was very tiring – it was an outdoor activity, which was a very long hike to the peak. We walked for at least two hours until we reached all the way to the top. Oh wow! I felt like a bird, I could taste the clouds. It was of course a long hike down but we still had to do one more thing, which was bouldering. We had to climb a big boulder but not just one – we had to climb two. It was hard and scary but I did it. Then we got back to the camp and had our lunch before doing another activity, which was roping. Boy, it was lot of fun! Other activities were Zip line, Rifle shooting and also flying squirrel. We also performed a play and watched an awesome juggling act. We became a team in INME so I have got to say this – INME Rocks!
Coorg was extra fun,
But a big challenge for everyone.
Lots of activities were there
I liked the ones in the air.
Some animals were cool, and some were scary
Others were weird and some were hairy.
In the end , when we had to go,
Everybody shouted, No!
Coorg was fun, but leaving was sad
Because it was the best trip I ever had.
