“Strive for personal excellence at all times. Strive to be achievers to the best of your potential in the areas that you are comfortable in.”
An inspiring message from Meenakshi Myer, our new Head of School, Middle and Senior, during her first address to the Middle and Senior School students and faculty gathered in the dining hall in the morning of June 30th.
Managing Trustee and CEO Nooraine Fazal introduced Meenakshi Myer to the audience after Mollika Ganguly, yoga teacher, opened the assembly with a rejuvenating session of meditation which included simple pranayama, bhramari and a shloka.
Speaking of her visits to Inventure during Inventuring Week and Awards Day, Meenakshi Myer touched upon the uniqueness of these two events. Inventuring which is our one of a kind foundation program and is celebrated all week in the beginning of the academic year, bringing in positivity, creativity and skill building among other things and Awards Day where we recognize each and every student for his/ her achievements in Academics and Beyond Academics- a feature that is unique to Inventure while most schools only award the high achievers on this day.
“Each and every one of you is unique”, she reiterated, “build on this quality but do not get complacent.”
The assembly ended with the choir singing the school song and the national anthem.
