As Inventure Academy gears-up to begin its Decennial year, what better gift could the school get than the stellar performance of the ICSE batch of 2014?
Inventure Academy, a Pre-K to Grade 12 School, located on Whitefield-Sarjpur Road, today celebrates its outstanding ICSE results.
All students in Grade 10 ICSE have performed exceedingly well, with over 50% of the class scoring an average of 90% and above, with a class average of 86%. In particular, the following students have secured outstanding marks:
Aditya Parekh – Average mark of 96.2%, scoring 99% in Computer Applications, 96% in Science 98% in History Civics and Geography, 98% in Maths (The School Topper)
Namrata Ramesh – Average mark of 95.4%, scoring 100% in Computer Applications, 97% in History, Civics and Geography, 94% Maths and 96% in Science
Viraj Yadav – Average mark of 94.8%, scoring 99% in Commercial Applications, 95% in Maths, 94 in Science and 94 in History, Civics and Geography
Sharon Roy- Average mark of 94.8%, scoring 100% in Computer Applications, 96% in History, Civics and Geography, 94% in Maths and 92% in Science and English
Neeti Ganjur – Average mark of 94.6%, scoring 96% in Science, History, Civics and Geography 94% Maths and 97% in Computer Applications
Principal of Inventure Academy, Mallika Sen, was ecstatic to learn about the outstanding performance of the students and said, “Though we had fantastic ICSE results last year, our students have truly outdone themselves this time. Congratulations to all of them! With a class average of 86%, the students have set a high benchmark for future batches to emulate. Congratulations to all of them and especially to Aditya Parekh who has topped the class. No doubt, other students will be inspired by the brilliant performance of this class and like them, aim for excellence not only in academics, but in co-curricular and extra-curricular spheres as well. Striving for 360 degree excellence has always been the goal of every Inventurer.” Alisha Kalyanpur of Inventure had topped the ICSE 2013 in South India and was second nationally.
Topper Aditya Parekh and Namrata Ramesh also voiced their excitement on learning about their stellar performances.
Aditya Parekh said, “I am ecstatic and dedicate this performance to my parents.” Namrata Ramesh commented, “Well, they say hard work pays off. I finally understand it now – all my hours of hard work were worth it.” The ICSE students collectively expressed their gratitude towards their teachers who worked hard to prepare them for the exams and to the school for an excellent academic programme.
CEO and Managing Trustee was ebullient in her praise and said, “I had thought about George Bernard Shaw’s famous quote when developing the vision for Inventure Academy. He said, ‘the reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.’ At Inventure, our unique pedagogical approach prepares children for success in life through a holistic program aimed at stimulating all of the intelligences and maximizing an individual’s potential.”
Inventure Academy, a school started in 2005 places importance on a balanced curriculum with emphasis on academics, sports, extra-curricular activities and community outreach programme. All students in the ICSE batch, including the top scorers are excellent musicians, sportsmen, actors and excel in many areas of the school’s program including working consistently with Government school children develop computer skills through the Community Outreach projects.
