Inventure Academy, an international pre-KG – 12 school, celebrated Graduation 2013 in grand style at their Whitefield-Sarjapur Road campus last evening. The Class of 2013, the third batch of students to graduate from Inventure Academy, comprised of 46 exuberant students, who with beaming faces, relished every moment of the occasion, underpinned by the most appropriate theme: “Rise and Shine.”

Principal, Mallika Sen, welcomed the Chief Guest and Keynote speaker, Mr. Prithvi Reddy, cofounder of Smart Vote, and one of the key people behind the Corruption Saaku and India Against Corruption movements. Mr. Reddy’s inspirational speech, with its central message of asking youth to mobilize themselves and get involved in social entrepreneurship and civic activities to better our world, was well received by more than 300 senior school students, parents and other guests in attendance. CEO and Managing Trustee, Ms. Nooraine Fazal, Chairman, Mr. Irfan Razack, and other trustees of the India Learning Foundation, including Mr. Rezwan Razack, Mr. Hassan Fazal and Mrs. Nafees Fazal (former Karnataka minister for medical education and science and technology), also graced the occasion..

Graduation 2013 marked a time of celebration for the 10th Graders as well, since the occasion marked their moving up to 11th Grade and the final two years of their high school studies. The Inventure Academy Choir performed three stirring songs (My Wish, Light the Candle and The Climb), while the school’s dance troupe rendered an exciting choreographic representation of the song “We are Young.” Two representatives from the Class of 2013 thanked their teachers and Inventure Academy at large, for nurturing them throughout their school lives.

The revelry continued late into the evening, as the graduates and 10th Graders stayed back in school for their own programme, consisting of a sumptuous dinner, along with music and dance.
