Investiture Ceremony 2016

The Investiture Ceremony for the newly elected members of the Student Council 2016 was held on Thursday 23rd June at the Senior Amphitheatre. A memorable day for the elected office bearers who take their solemn oath as leaders in front of the faculty, Management and students, the Investiture Ceremony at Inventure Academy is a great occasion and a platform for future leaders.

The school choir opened the day’s ceremony with a beautiful rendition of ‘team’ by Lorde.

Following the lighting of the lamp, the Office Bearers had their badges pinned by the House advisors and wore their sashes with pride as they took the oath to discharge their duties with sincerity and fulfill everyone’s expectations. The ceremony for Middle and Senior School was followed by Primary School.

Prof. Babu Mathew, our Chief Guest for the day is one of the pioneers of NLSIU, the premier Law School of India. This Professor of Law left his job at National Law University in New Delhi recently to work for Aam Aadmi Party full time. He has contributed immensely to Labour Law reforms, Child Rights, Human Rights, Legal Reforms and in protecting the rights of working people and provided his expertise as a subject expert to several international universities.

In his address to the audience, Prof. Mathew stressed on Democracy, Formation and Core Values. Touching on topics like inclusion, unity in diversity and leadership which resonated with everyone, Prof. Mathews set the mood for the rest of the ceremony.

The Investiture Ceremony ended with an interaction with the Chief Guest and a Q&A session where Prof. Mathew appreciated the thought provoking and intelligent questions that our Senior School students posed to him.
