Dr. Shekhar Sheshadari, a leading psychiatrist from NIMHANS, held a workshop for the Seniors on life skills. During the workshop, he spoke about all those skills we need and will need eventually in various social situations. They ranged from interpersonal interactions to resolving conflicts to emotional complexities and much more.
Unlike usual lectures, he made this livelier by making us act out each of these situations to give a realistic idea of how they actually play out in life (he called the participants “spectators”). This added an entertaining spin to the session. On the whole, this talk was informative and interesting and we did have lots of fun in the process, too!
