Inventure Academy Presents the Class of 2014
Inventure Academy, a Pre-K to 12 international school located on Whitefield – Sarjapur Road, held the Graduation Ceremony for its Grade 12 students, the Class of 2014, last evening, January 24, 2014.
The well-attended event had an appropriate theme: “Touch the Sky.” The 27 member strong graduating class showcases students of Excellence in diverse areas – from academics to sports and the performing arts. Individuals from this Batch have topped the CIE Board exams, scored very high marks in the CISCE Board Examinations and also have accomplished athletes who have been a dominating presence in the athletics and sports tournaments in Bangalore. A ‘Moving-up Ceremony” for the 49 member strong 10th
Grade Batch, was also held simultaneously.
The event was attended by Irfan Razack, Managing Director of the Prestige Group and Chairman / Co-Founder of Inventure Academy, Ms. Nooraine Fazal, Managing Trustee, CEO and Co-Founder of the school, Trustee Mrs. Nafees Fazal, former Minister and Hassan Fazal.
Ecstatic parents, faculty, students and other guests listened in rapt attention to Chief Guest, Ms. Lakshmi Pratury’s Graduation Speech in which she urged students to have the strength to bounce back after facing any failure in life. In December 2010, Lakshmi Pratury, who is also an Inventure Academy parent, curated and hosted the first INK Conference held in India, in association with TED, which carried forward the momentum created by TEDIndia. She has been featured in the list of ‘100 Most Powerful Women’ by Forbes Asia in 2010. Lakshmi also brought along a surprise guest – Mr. Abhay Deol. Abhay Deol, a film actor of great repute, who shared his own experiences as a student with the audience and spoke about how one should focus on maximizing their own potential, while being a lifelong learner. Mr. Deol’s well-received speech was followed by a Q and A session, much to the delight of the students.
In a short span of 9 years, Inventure Academy has earned the distinction of being ranked among the top ten co-educational day schools in the nation by Education World Magazine.
